The Owners

Karla Kaufman & Tena Malone - Or if you ask Tena, she'd say Tena Malone & Karla Kaufman.
We're both from small town Iowa. Both of us were brought up on family farms; working side by side our Mom & Dad and fighting with our brothers & sisters. We walked beans, de-tassled corn, played softball, and did what all teenagers did in the 70's. (I know, I just dated ourselves)

Then we grew up and got a little antsy and moved to the big city. Denver, Los Angeles, San Francisco & Palm Springs; wherever our corporate headquarters would send us. We worked for large corporations and started at the bottom and worked our way to the top. Then for one reason or another, without boring you to death with all the details, we both moved back to Iowa - which is where we met. We worked for the same advertising company in Des Moines and after a short time we came to the same conclusion. We could do it better!! So we headed back to small town Iowa and set up shop.

We're from the generation that didn't carry cell phones, had to be home by midnight or we'd be grounded, and we were taught to help our neighbors in need. We learned committment, responsibility, and a sense of pride in what we could and did accomplish.
